Relief Care Uganda

Welcome to Relief Care Uganda

Relief Care Uganda is a registered non-profit community development organization that was founded in 2006 when a huge need for ongoing support and care for vulnerable people rural communities of Uganda was realized. We focus on partnering with local and international organisations, institutions, companies, churches and individuals to grow and implement our programs through donations, sponsorships, internships and volunteering.

Relief Care Uganda focuses on providing long-term sustainable solutions to problems in rural communities of Uganda which are mainly caused by poverty and lack of access to human basic needs. Together with the communities we serve we identified key areas where change needs to have a positive impact if poverty is to become a challenge of the past.

Transforming Lives in Rural Uganda: Relief Care's Holistic Approach to Healthcare, Education, and Poverty Alleviation

Relief Care Uganda addresses some of the most pervasive problems in rural Uganda, primarily focusing on poor healthcare systems, hunger, poor education system, access to clean drinking water, environment degradation and extreme poverty. When one volunteers with Relief Care Uganda, expect a unique opportunity to truly learn a lot and also make a positive change in people’s lives. The organisation is founded on the principle that our common humanity is more important than our individual differences. We therefore operate on a non-political, non-denominational, and non-sectarian basis.
